Selected participants for the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), BRAC University successfully attended Australia Awards Fellowship (AAF) titled on Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business Sustainability in Nepal and Bangladesh in November 2015.
This program is supported by Australian Government and organized by CED in association with the Australian Centre for Sustainable Business and Development (ACSBD) and the International Centre for Applied Climate Sciences of the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. It was a 3-week leadership development program for the women entrepreneurs of Bangladesh and Nepal jointly selected by CED, Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI), and Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI), Nepal.
The program provided the fellows with a toolkit of Australian best practices, policies, research and promotion initiatives, to build the skills and capabilities of women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh and Nepal. As a part of the program, CED selected 5 women entrepreneurs from Bangladesh to participate in this program. This group of women entrepreneurs was in Australia during 8-29 November 2015. They successfully came back Bangladesh in the first week of December.
