Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Brac University (BracU) has initiated its first-ever 5-month “Acceleration Program” for its startups led by the University’s students. The launching ceremony of the Acceleration Program took place at GDLN Centre at BracU on 23 January 2022.
The goal of the Acceleration Program is to provide necessary technical and operational knowledge to these high-potential incubatees for their successful graduation and sustainable growth.
Representatives from six (6) selected incubatee groups were present at the ceremony and they shared their business ideas, future plans, challenges, and expectations from the Acceleration Program with CED senior officials.
Ms Afshana Choudhury (Joint Director, CED), Ms Farzana Kashfi (External Adviser to Business Incubation Centre (BIC)), Mr Shamim Ehsanul Hauqe (Assistant Professor, Brac Business School, BracU & Senior Research Fellow, CED), Ms Joya Chowdhury (Director, Igniten IT) were present in the event, among others.
The Acceleration Program is expected to expand CED’s value proposition to its student/alumni community and the country’s entrepreneurship ecosystem at large.
