With a heavy heart and great sadness, we inform you of the passing of Professor Dr Rahim B Talukdar, Adviser, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Brac University. (Inna lillahi wa inna illaihi rajiun).
Professor Talukdar had long years of academic and administrative experience for over four decades. Before joining CED, he was the Adviser (with Dean Status) of BRAC Business School, BracU. He was the Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, Dhaka (2006-2010), and also the Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (2003-2006), and Vice Chancellor (in-charge) of Viqarunnissa University (2001-2003). He was Professor and Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He had been at IBA since its inception in 1966. Details here.
