CED-BRACU provided a seed loan of BDT 5 Lac to allDocs Technologies Ltd. to progress with their entrepreneurial journey.
On 1 December 2022, the fund was handed over to the founder of the company by Dr David Dowland (Registrar, BRACU) as a Guest of Honor through a Fund Distribution Ceremony held at the Business Incubation Center (BIC) of the university.
A promising tech service startup established by BRACU alumni, allDocs became the winner of the 6th round of the Business Plan Competition, organized yearly by CED-BRACU.
The program was moderated by Prof Dr Matin Saad Abdullah (Technical Advisor, CED, and Professor, Department of CSE, BRACU).
Members of the seed fund administration committee, incubatees of BIC, and CED officials were also present in the ceremony.
Ms Afshana Choudhury (Joint Director, CED) shared her thoughts on how BIC has been providing incubation support and services to the enrolled startup formed by students and alumni of BRACU.
The Business Incubation Centre (in short BIC), established and being managed by CED, is a hub for BRACU’s aspiring entrepreneurs and the annual Business Plan Competition is the flagship program of CED.
Many thriving startups like Bonton, Ten’s 360, Rapido Delivery, Wholemade, Aatosh, etc. have started their entrepreneurial journey from this hub and set up their footprint in and beyond Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem successfully.
CED hopes to nurture more aspiring entrepreneurs, help them transform their innovative ideas into reality, and thus turn them into future leaders of the country.
