Funded by Fred Hollows Foundation [Aug 2017 – Nov 2017]

CED conducted a needs assessment and baseline study focusing on indigenous, marginalized, and vulnerable populations. The objective of this assignment was to identify, describe, and prioritize individuals within Chattogram, Khulna, and Barisal divisions in Bangladesh who are disproportionately affected by poor health compared to the broader population. The research findings will inform the design of eye health programs and policies aimed at reducing inequities in eye care services across Bangladesh.
